Help us raise money for hospices, with your wealth of experience.

We are currently hiring in Devon, South West London, Sussex, Hampshire and Kent.

Why people choose to be a fundraiser with us:

  • They love talking and connecting with people

  • They are passionate about the cause they represent

  • They are more interested in doing something of value than developing a career

  • They like the flexibility of being self-employed and choosing their schedule to work around their lives

  • They are good at fundraising and are very well rewarded

What does being a self-employed fundraiser look like?

  • After a conversation with us, if we both agree that the opportunity is right for you, you will be setup on an extensive online training programme over the course of a day or two.

  • We will send you out all the uniform, marketing material and other promotional material.

  • We will send you out on a training day with the local manager, which is paid.

  • You tell us your availability for the next 6 weeks and we will strive to fill those days up with bookings at sites.

  • You will generally be booked into sites within 20–45 minutes from where you live.

  • You turn up on site, we suggest, ready to start at 10am, set up your stand and start chatting to the public.

  • You generally finish around 4pm but can work longer if you wish.

  • You are paid a fee for each person you secure as a donor of the charity.

  • On average our self-employed Ambassadors are paid £3-400 per shift.

  • People generally work 2-3 days a week.

  • You invoice us, we can help you with this, and are paid every 2 weeks.

What sort of background do our fundraisers have?

  • Our fundraisers generally have had a career before hand.

  • They have been teachers, nurses, have run their own businesses or have worked in management jobs before.

  • They are at the point in life where they don’t need or want a 9 to 5 job and like the freedom and flexibility that this job provides.

  • Many of our fundraisers have other sources of income, perhaps a second job.

  • They understand the idea of going to work, putting in a full day (10am to 4pm) and being well rewarded for their efforts and abilities.
